As soon as you arrived home, you rang a Wildlife Rescue Organisation for help. You were then advised to place a hot water bottle underneath the dead mother possum to keep the baby warm. A short while later a volunteer carer knocked on your door to pick up the
Joey to be looked after.
The Joey grew up to be a healthy and strong female Ringtail Possum and was able to be released back into the wild.
You have saved the Joey's life.
